On safari day, your Land Cruiser arrives at your hotel at the scheduled time. Your driver will contact you before arrival and share the vehicle details.
Cancel 24+ hours before pickup for a full refund to the original payment method, subject to processing time. Within the 24-hour window, a free date change may be available subject to our booking terms.
Same-day cancellations or no-shows may result in loss of the booking payment. If the operator cancels due to unsafe weather or operational conditions, you can choose a full refund or free reschedule.

Dune bashing is not recommended during pregnancy, or for guests with heart or back conditions. The no-dune-bashing evening route runs at the same price for anyone who prefers to skip it.
Everything you need to know before booking your Dubai desert safari, from pickup timings and safety to food, cancellations and photography.
Winter pickup from November to March generally runs between 3:00 PM and 3:30 PM from central Dubai hotels. Summer pickup from May to September generally runs between 4:00 PM and 4:30 PM. Marina, JBR and Palm Jumeirah pickups are generally around 3:00 PM, while Downtown, Business Bay and Bur Dubai are around 3:30 PM. Deira, Al Barsha and Jumeirah are usually around 3:15 PM. Your driver will contact you before arrival with the vehicle details. Sharjah and Ajman pickups may leave earlier, while Abu Dhabi pickups require additional travel time.
Comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes are recommended. Loose trousers, a maxi dress or a light cotton top work well. Bring a light layer for the evening, especially between November and February. Sunglasses, sunscreen, a power bank and a small scarf can also be useful. Avoid high heels and expensive jewellery because the desert can be dusty. Closed shoes are recommended for activities such as sandboarding and camel riding.
Children can join the safari with age-appropriate arrangements. Dune bashing is not recommended during pregnancy or for guests with certain heart, back or neck conditions. Guests who prefer to avoid dune bashing can choose a direct route to the camp instead. The main camp areas are designed for comfortable access, although some dune-edge locations may not be suitable for wheelchair users. Please tell our booking team about any special requirements before your trip.
Yes. Vegetarian options are available at the BBQ buffet, including vegetable dishes, salads, hummus, falafel and other Arabic selections. Guests with vegan, gluten-free, nut or other dietary requirements should mention them when booking. For serious allergies, please inform the team at least 24 hours before pickup so the camp can make the necessary arrangements.
Please contact us on WhatsApp as soon as you know that you may be late. The driver will normally try to reach you before departure and coordinate the pickup where possible. Because shared safaris operate on a schedule, significant delays may require an alternative pickup arrangement or rescheduling. Staying in contact with the driver gives us the best chance of keeping your safari on schedule.
Cancellations made at least 24 hours before pickup may qualify for a full refund according to the booking terms. Within the 24-hour window, a date change may be available subject to availability and the applicable booking conditions. Same-day cancellations and no-shows may result in loss of the booking payment. If the operator cancels because of unsafe weather or operational conditions, guests may choose between a refund or rescheduling where applicable.
Alcohol availability depends on the specific camp and package. Standard desert safari camps are generally alcohol-free. Some licensed premium venues may offer alcoholic beverages separately. If alcohol availability is important for your booking, please confirm the specific camp and package with our team before making your reservation.
Yes. Guests can take photographs using their own phone or camera during the safari. Some packages may also include photography opportunities at the camp. Professional photography sessions can be arranged separately depending on availability and package requirements. If you would like professional photographs, mention this when booking so the photography slot can be arranged in advance.
